Fraternity Business and Alumni Caucus Meeting

For those who would like to get an update on the activities of the Fraternity and take some time to discuss the business of the Fraternity, space will be provided for a meeting.  This will be hosted by our EBOD VP of Alumni, Brother James Terronez.  Space will be reserved at the Auraria campus, where the Leadership Institute is taking place.  You do not need to be part of an Alumni Network or Alumni Association to participate.

Chilligate Lunch

This event will be open to local area Brothers as well as those who are participating in the overall retreat.  If you participated in this during BetaCon 2024, you know it’s a great opportunity to network and meet other brothers while enjoying some food and beverages in a relaxed environment.

Beta Investors Network Kick-Off Meeting

This meeting will be the opening conversation for a new entity being founded in which Brothers with the financial means will be pooling their funds together to create an investment fund.  This fund will ultimately seek to invest in Brother-owned businesses.  This initial meeting will be hosted by brothers who have previously led these types of events and entities.  The discussion will focus on 1) the terms of investment, 2) the method for deciding on recipients, and 3) the lead-up to BetaCon 202,6 where this investment will be finalized in a “Shark Tank” type experience.

Mentorship Mixer

For those who are looking for an opportunity to engage with our current undergraduate members present for the weekend, this will be your chance to do so.  The goal of this event is to help our undergraduate members meet and network with successful alumni while also providing the time and space for alumni to find possible mentees that they are willing and able to support once the event closes.

Colorado Rockies Game

Join us as we watch the Colorado Rockies take on the Minnesota Twins during the annual “Star Wars” theme night at Coors Field.  While tailgating is not allowed at Coors Field, we will be meeting in advance of the game to enjoy some networking prior to heading into the stadium.  Rockies games are the perfect games to rock your Royal Purple, or feel free to dress up as your favorite Star Wars cosplay for the game.

Membership Educator Trainer Training

Every semester, members of the Ritual & Education Committee put on Membership Educator Trainings all around the country.  These are intensive trainings that are designed to walk our undergraduate brothers through all the things that it takes to become an effective Membership Educator.  More than just exposing potential Membership Educators to our rituals, Membership Educator Trainers also equip future MEs with the skills and techniques it takes to lead a group of young men on a journey of self-discovery that builds a cohesive unit.  As we continue to grow and expand into more states, the need for additional trainers has become apparent.  This session, hosted by the Ritual & Education Committee, will provide alumni members with the skills and training that it takes to become a Membership Educator Trainer.

Individuals who take this training will need to complete a prep course in advance of July 18th.  The prep course will provide information on the current version of the Membership Educator Manual, allow you to watch a recorded ME Training session, and provide answers to FAQs that undergraduates often have.  Completion of this course is required before the training session so that the training session can be as effective as possible.  The Ritual & Education Committee Chairman will still need to approve any certifications of Membership Educators before a ME Trainer can put on a training for undergraduate members.

This session will run from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 18th.

The deadline for registration is June 1st. You must pay the registration invoice in full prior to the deadline to ensure attendance. If you have not completed payment by the deadline and close of registration, you will need to reach out to the Executive Office directly to process the payment. Please note that if you are attending the hike, you will need to complete the Release of Liability acknowledgement in the associated registration form.

Please contact the Executive Office with any questions you may have regarding this event.
